Today would have been James Marshall (Jimi) Hendrix's 75th birthday. The guitarist was and is widely acknowledged as the Greatest Of All Time, while remaining an incredibly humble human being.
He managed to change music and showmanship as we know it in just a four year career, with his bands The Experience and Band of Gypsys, and nobody knows which dimension he would have led it to, if he hadn't joined the 27 club in September 1970.
We salute you Jimi, a true original... fly on little wing.
