We're Listening...

We here at Okuh Towers are currently listening to a visionary slice of early Hip Hop.

The track in question is 'Beat Bop' by Rammellzee and K-Rob. Its an epic clocking in at over ten minutes and produced by artist Jean Michel Basquiat, who also created the cover art and issued it on his own short-lived (this was the first and only release) Tartown Record label.

For these reasons this ranks amongst the most expensive Hip Hop records ever released (there were only 500 of that first pressing!)

But despite the notoriety its definitely worth listening to the full 10 minutes and 10 seconds.
