The Chill Out Room...

“Don’t bother trying to listen to this LP if you have neither first switched off the lights and then laid your body to rest on the floor.”
This little beauty, released in that mythical year for British dance music 1990, is an immersive and atmospheric 'Ambient House' masterpiece.
It tracks a night time trip across the American deep south, full of rumbling freight trains, sheep and barking dogs (among other less indigenous wild life) and laced with vocal samples, from Elvis singing 'In The Ghetto' and an evangelist preacher to Mongolian throat singers.
So switch off those lights lie down and “Hopefully then the trip will be complete!”
